Brigid Morrissey resides in a sleepy southern Indiana town where she spent her childhood imagining and creating through all kinds of mediums.

“There once was a girl who lost her direction.
But through it all, she wrote this collection.”
The Bird That Walked North is a poetry collection that is both charmingly innocent and delightfully deep. Full of puns and fun wordplay, these verses have been inspired by people and incidents in her daily life. She hopes this book will be a light for children and adults - that they can also learn to look for humor while finding their path in life.
Brigid has also collaborated with authors to illustrate their books. Her most recent project is with her favorite hip-hop artist, Kota The Friend, that she happened to meet in the Denver airport. You can now buy Kota In Sedona, along with Growing Hope and Pieces and Parts of Love.
